Mechanical Designer Career Opportunity! Prepare product modification solutions using computer-aided design (CAD), expeditiously & cost effective and on a timely manner, from conceptual to production Develop engineering solutions for product compatibility with legacy and emerging control systems. Generate customer submittal drawings and pricing quotations for custom design and modified products. Generates and maintains product technical documentation, bills-of-material, routings, and material master, component and assembly drawings, and reference databases. Coordinate with sub-supplier (Nationally & Internationally) in obtaining cost estimate, including labor, material, testing & certification to develop and design custom products. Provide supplier information to Supply Chain & manufacturing instructions for Production of the products. Work with production in assisting assembly to trouble shoot production problems, if any, encountered during manufacturing process. Provide technical information & solutions as needed by all other departments. Provide technical support of product installation, operation and maintenance to external customers. Keep up to date with product knowledge & the latest technologies in our industry in order to provide intelligent answers to any questions from our customers.
