Location: Fully Remote (Candidates local to Detroit, MI are welcome to utilize the office)
Target Start Date: Immediate
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire, Hourly, W2 (Benefits Optional*)
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week), with potential for overtime
About the Role:
As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you'll play a vital role in crafting compelling content across various platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
Researching, producing, and optimizing SEO-friendly content for blogs and website pages
Supporting the social media team by creating engaging captions
Developing taglines for campaigns and promotions
Curating content for longer formats such as articles and video scripts, including conducting interviews
Assisting in crafting corporate press releases
Creating and refining content for marketing materials like brochures, newsletters, ads, and email campaigns
Maintaining and enhancing the brand's tone and style across all written materials
Minimum Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in marketing communications and/or marketing copywriting
Strong portfolio showcasing diverse marketing writing samples
Ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to brand guidelines
Who You Are:
Organized with excellent time management skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt writing style for different audiences
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
