Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Manufacturing Production Supervisor We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, LEAN MFG, quality control, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met
- Develop and implement production schedules and procedures to optimize production output
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Train and mentor production staff to ensure productivity and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality control, to address production issues and ensure smooth operations
- Schedule and conduct regular production meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates with the production team
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to comply with safety and hygiene regulations
- Investigate and resolve production issues, equipment failures, and employee conflicts in a timely and efficient manner
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing production supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in computerized production planning and inventory control systems
- Experience in troubleshooting production machinery and equipment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment
