Job Summary
As a Manufacturing Coordinator at Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company, you will be responsible for supporting production, monitoring, tracking, and moving WIP / parts as required through the production flow to ensure on-time delivery to schedule. This role will require the ability to work the first or second shift depending on business needs.
This position's internal job code is Material Specialist. Our team is currently hiring for a Grade 14.
Job Responsibilities
Processes, tracks and moves work orders, parts and other materials through the production flow and other locations to support the flow of production and schedule.
Coordinate the physical movement of parts through receiving inspection, stock rooms, purchasing, production resources, or any applicable work center.
Ensure parts are handled and protected properly.
Coordinate off-site processing of parts to ensure on-time delivery as required (IE Shipping/ Boeing).
Perform de-kitting operations and own the return to stock process.
Support projects or productivity development activities within assigned production cells.
Support assigned production cells with work order management activities as required.
Assist production teams in corrective actions.
Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
Provide internal customer service and communicate with internal stakeholders.
Interface with scheduling, planning and engineering on the release of work orders for build.
Communicate part status and estimated completion dates to leadership upon request. (arrival of part coming from receiving, etc).
Trains others on processes or operations they are familiar with.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
1+ years of experience supporting administrative processes
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
Physical Demands of the Work Environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Summary Pay-Range
Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Grade 14: $21.15 - $31.09
Union
This is an hourly position governed by Labor Union Carpenters Local 721 Collective Bargaining agreement.
