Job Summary The Manager of IT Operations will be a primary figure in leading the project planning, execution coordination and tracking, and facilitation of change (both technical and non-technical) across the company for major business system new implementation or enhancement projects (Deltek, Procore, Viewpoint, HRIS & Learning & Development systems, etc.). This role will work with internal IT and business leads, 3rd party vendors, and other Dennis Group stakeholders to guide projects to successful completion by applying sound management practices and demonstrating individual leadership in problem solving, communication, and critical thinking throughout project lifecycles. Your leadership will ensure that our IT operations not only meet but exceed the demands of our dynamic business environment. This role will be instrumental in harmonizing IT operational functions to drive operational efficiency and innovation.  Responsibilities Leadership and Oversight: Provide leadership, direction, and oversight across several critical IT operational functions, including project management, logistics, support services, and transformation initiatives. Ensure these areas operate cohesively to support the organization's goals. Strategic Planning and Execution: Craft and execute strategic plans to enhance IT operational efficiency, service delivery, and infrastructure reliability. Work closely with IT leaders to align IT operations strategy with the broader business objectives. Team Development and Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team of IT Operations specialists. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the IT operations team. Operational Excellence: Ensure the IT operations team delivers exceptional service management, including incident, problem, change, and service level management. Drive initiatives that improve system uptime, data protection, and overall IT service delivery. Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key vendors and internal stakeholders. Negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and oversee vendor performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). Project Management Oversight: Oversee IT project management functions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives. Promote the use of best practices in project management and agile methodologies. Transformation and Innovation: Guide IT transformations in identifying and implementing innovative technologies and processes that enhance business operations and IT operations service delivery. Required Education Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a combination of education and experience. Extensive experience (10+ years) in IT operations management Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with a demonstrated ability to align IT operations with business objectives. Excellent leadership and team development abilities. Superior problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills. Effective vendor management and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, such as ITIL, and experience managing service level agreements (SLAs). Proven track record (7+ years) in managing IT transformation projects and implementing and/or enhancing innovative technology solutions that work and interact with it other. Certifications related to IT operations management, project management, IT service management (e.g., ITIL Foundation), or cloud technologies is a plus. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. At times, standing and walking the jobsite over rough terrain can be expected Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.
