As a Maintenance Technician you will: Perform repairs in accordance to OSHA guidelines Performs all plant Fabrication needs including Injection Molding Tools. Performs preventative maintenance inspection (PM); diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including injection machinery, hydraulic power packs, diverters, compressors, trash compactors, motors, fans, pumps, forklifts, material loaders, and building equipment. Maintains DEI (Daily Equipment Inspections) backlog. Establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and advises plan maintenance manager if additional work is needed or cannot be completed with the Standard Repair Times (SRTs) Recommends measures to improve production, equipment performance, and product quality. Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns. Other special duties as assigned. This is a Full-Time 1st Shift Opportunity.
The ideal candidate will: Speak, read, and understand English. Must have fabrication experience or knowledge of Mig/Tig/Arc/Oxy Acetylene/Brazing etc. and Oxygen/Acetylene torch cut and heat. Experience in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred. Knowledge of safety rules in typical warehouse/manufacturing/production areas. Must be able to stand most of the 8-hour workday. Must be able to drive a forklift (standing & sit down). Actively engages in a team-based environment. Ability to effectively troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues. Ability to perform under limited supervision. Requires a flexible work schedule which may include nights and weekends to support the operating schedule and the needs of the facility. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities. Experience using inspection equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, and soldering, manual lathe, or vertical mill, and drill press. Ability to effectively troubleshoot and identify electrical systems including but not limited to; automated systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs) 3H Power, Transformers, electric motors, rectifiers, power supplies, disconnects, contractors, etc. Pay Rate: $20-25/hr
