Maintenance Technician $29 - $35/hour Brownsburg, IN Direct Hire!
Monday to Friday, 4pm to 12:30am
Kelly Services in partnership with top distributor, is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing activities that ensure the reliability of all distribution center equipment. These activities include preventive maintenance, repair, construction, and maintaining the spare parts inventory, as well as documentation of all activities in a computerized maintenance management system. Responsibilities: Maintain all facility equipment in proper and safe operating condition to minimize downtime for operations. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems. Conduct repairs and maintenance on all lift trucks, powered equipment, dock plates, trailer restraints, and overhead doors. Perform repairs and modifications to facility electrical and lighting systems. Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC systems, including office and warehouse rooftop units. Utilize parts manuals and CMMS software to identify and locate required parts. Complete interior finish work and repairs, including painting and drywall. Repair and maintain plumbing systems, including commercial restroom fixtures. Maintain large stationary air compressors and air distribution pipes. Perform general building and grounds maintenance tasks. Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping in the facility. Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent (required); Associate degree or Vo-Tech degree (preferred). Valid driver's license (preferred). Minimum of one year of experience in industrial maintenance, including conveyor systems, electrical systems (including 480V 3 phase), and mechanical repairs. Knowledge of label applicators, bar code scanners, box erectors, lift truck battery changing and service, dock plates, overhead doors, air compressors, plumbing, welding/fabrication, and HVAC is desirable. Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving and mechanical knowledge. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and computerized work order systems. Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs individually and up to 100 lbs with assistance Helping you discover what's next in your career is what we're all about, so let's get to work.
