Responsibilities
• Schedule training of mechanics• Plan, assign, and direct work• Conduct performance appraisals• Reward and discipline mechanics• Address complaints and resolve problems• Oversee records management of equipment• Maintain warranties, PM schedule, and repair records• Order and maintain parts inventory• Manage repair and maintenance of customer's equipment• Assist in maintaining safety and health policies
Requirements
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office• Knowledge of mechanical fundamentals and diesel maintenance• Experience in direct supervisory role in a diesel maintenance shop• High school diploma or GED
Key Skills Needed
