Full job description Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements, tolerances, and dimensions.
Program CNC machines using CAM software, making necessary adjustments to cutting speeds, feeds, and tool paths.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration tasks on CNC equipment to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery and handling hazardous materials.
Associates in Machining preferred
CNC experience
Manual lathe and welding experience a plus
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Demonstrated ability to set up and program CNC machines using CAM software.
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machining tools, equipment, and materials.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to machine operation and industrial manufacturing.
