Machine Operator

Job Title: F&P Machine Operator
Job Summary:
Finishing and Packaging employees inspect and pack product to customer specification
Responsibilities:
? Run various converting equipment machinery including but not limited to:
o slitter machine
o rewind tables for product inspection
o roll slitting machine
? Prep material for slitting operation
? Inspect labels for defects
? Package labels for shipment
? Complete required paperwork
? Use QAD to issue/receive product to work orders and print core/box labels
? Complete miscellaneous tasks as requested 
Required Skills/Abilities:
? Prior production/manufacturing experience
? High school degree or equivalent
? Roll fed flexographic experience
? High level of attention to detail and accuracy
? Strong mechanical aptitude
? Strong analytical, organizational, communication and computer skills
? Demonstrated ability to process product within quality and productivity standards
? Must be able to read and understand all associated paperwork and tools
? Able to work in a team environment
? Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on occasion.  
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting/standing, and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
