About Cobalt & Specialty Materials Mastering the cobalt value chain. Umicore's expertise covers the sourcing, production and distribution of cobalt and nickel products. What you will be doing As our Local Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for transporting raw materials and finished goods between our warehouse and manufacturing plant in LaVergne, Tennessee. Specifically, this will include:
Communicating with production and shipping on scheduling; Inspecting all trucks/tankers prior to every trip and reporting maintenance needs; Properly placarding trucks/tankers; Maintaining shipping paperwork and delivery documentation; Weighing and ensuring proper cleaning of tankers and trucks; Verifying trailers and tankers are properly secured for loading and unloading; Moving material and equipment safely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements; Other duties as needed. Who we are looking for Our success is based on individuals who are ready to make the most of their skills and prepared to tackle any challenge they face. As well as a high school diploma or equivalent, you should have a Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements, at least two years' commercial driving experience, and an acceptable driving history. Qualifications required by the Department of Transportation, including medical certification, must also be met. Forklift experience is desired.

Additional Information This position is located at the Palm Commodities International, LLC facility. The facility is a Drug-Free Workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required.
Our Local Shuttle Drivers are paid on an hourly basis and eligible for overtime. We have two shifts available, both Monday through Friday. The first shift is 6 am to 2:30 pm, and the second shift is 8 am to 4:30 p.m.
