This position is located in Jefferson City. A Hybrid - Remote Office Work Environment and flexible work schedule will be considered after the initial training period is complete and based off of the candidates' qualifications and needs. This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Responsibilities/DutiesJob Functions* PercentageJob Functions 30%Maintains branch loan accounts Processes financial transaction corrections, maturity date extensions, conversions to new interest rate products, etc.Creates and corrects year-end tax documents and provides communication to members regarding these formsIdentifies loan activity that requires communication with AgriBank & SunStream regarding approval, issues, and branch needsSets up and maintains lease loans while communicating with CoBank and Oscar regarding issues20%Communicates accounting instructions and procedures to branch employees Identifies issues and needs and provides guidance on steps necessary to resolve the issue or needMonitors branch requests for appropriate approval levels for waivers and transfersAssists loan officer's in identifying feesMaintains knowledge of association Tier structure for consistent/accurate pricing of loan portfolio10%Missouri Linked Deposit Program Communicates with the State and BranchMaintains the Missouri Linked Deposit Internal SharePoint SiteCompletes a monthly Missouri Linked Deposit as well as audit requestsProcesses Applications and Renewals10%Account Reconciliation Reconciles differences posted to loan accounts through the Association's front-end system and the corresponding general ledger accounts in the loan accounting systemResearches and resolves outages10%Prepares daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports Creates, manipulates, and runs reportsReviews reports to identify and correct errorsPublishes wholesale fee report and answers branch staff questions pertaining to it5%Reviews loan accounting procedures Ensures procedures and practices are in alignmentIdentifies and recommends possible improvements to proceduresMaintains and verifies that records/documentation is accurate, stored properly, and aligns with retention schedule5%Daily deposits Posts and processes daily deposits for the Central Office branchProvides support to branch staff on deposits and systems used to process deposits5%Publishes association loan rates and maintains rate files Publishes daily loan rates to the Association intranet site for employee consumptionInputs certain rates on a weekly and/or monthly basis to the Loan Accounting system5%Serves on special project teams as assigned Participates on projects as a subject matter expert or resourcen/a
Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization Required SkillsMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related fieldTwo years related experience in a financial services organizationOr an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job Required Knowledge and Skills Skill in consistently meeting deadlines while managing multiple prioritiesSkill in working as part of a teamVerbal and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor, and customersHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailExpert skill in utilizing a keyboard and 10 key to enter information quickly and accuratelyExpert customer service skills, including the ability to communicate complicated information, deliver bad news effectively, and exceed customer expectationsWorking knowledge of the banking industry and lending processesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook and AccessWorking knowledge of PDF EditorWorking knowledge of SAP Crystal Reports 2016General knowledge of accounting system softwareResponsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association's systems and data and clients' data
