Position Summary The Lead Therapist will be responsible for providing quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to patients and their families in a lead position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team
· Integrate the management of the inpatient program into the hospital's continuum of care Functions in both in-patient and out-patient settings
· Supports the inpatient team as a lead and primary backup for the director.

Qualifications Education : Master's degree in social work or equivalent Master's degree in a recognized mental health field.
Experience : Clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred. Experience in case management, time management, and crisis intervention preferred. General knowledge of all areas psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment required.
Age-Specific Competencies : Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric
Licensure/Certification : CPR Certification required. CPI Certification required. Professional clinical licensure or certification (i.e., LISW, LMSW, LPC, NCC, LMFT, etc.) preferred.
Other : Assists the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) with ensuring the social services department's compliance with regulatory requirements. Conducts quality audits and assists DCS with developing plans of correction for identified deficiencies. Ability to relate well with treatment professionals; Ability to mobilize and coordinate staff resources; Skills in dealing courteously with the public and individuals within the hospital setting; Possesses good organizational skills; Ability to meet deadlines; Time management skills; Must be available for assessments as needed; Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential; Must demonstrate ability to treat other age populations as needed or have the capacity to develop skills through cross-training and orientation; Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation.
HIPAA : Has access to and adds to the Medical Record. May only access medical record of assigned patients.
