You will be focused on optimizing each guest's experience by living out our company purpose of 'hospitality from our family to yours'.Benefits for full-time associates2 weeks of vacation pay your first year4 sick days/year2 hours paid volunteer time/monthHoliday payMedical, dental, and vision insurance plan optionsShort term disability, long term disability, and life insurance plan options401k retirement planDiscounts on hotel rooms worldwideDirect deposit payrollResponsibilitiesWork closely with the General Manager and Housekeeping team to inspect property daily identifying current and potential safety, cleanliness, and/or maintenance needsReview and prioritize maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders using our digital work order platformTroubleshoot, perform, and supervise maintenance operations for the property including but not limited to refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventative maintenance, Hotel front and back of house spaces, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, water softeners, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, fire and life safety systems, and other systems and equipment owned, leased or managed by the hotelMaintain a schedule of ongoing preventative maintenance program for guestrooms, meeting rooms, public space, back of the house spaces, kitchens and all hotel equipment tracked using our digital platformPerform inventory and purchasing dutiesDevelop and maintain maintenance department budgetMaintain cleanliness of grounds and attractiveness of landscapingEnsure cleanliness and orderliness of all work space and storage areasObtain bids and contracts for all items placed under a maintenance agreement as well as landscaping contractsCoordinate with local health, safety, fire, and building inspectors to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulationsEnsure pool is properly maintained to include cleanliness and chemical contentMaintain the building exterior if not serviced by a contractor (e.g. lawn care, painting, etc).Respond to all emergency situations following emergency policy and proceduresResponsible for completing all required shift paperwork and reports accurately and completely in our digital work order platformAttend weekly management meetingGreet each guest that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.Ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.Follow hotel procedures for reporting and turning in lost and found articles.Coordinate with other departments as necessary to resolve service requests or problems.Ensure guest and associate safety by following established security procedures including emergency procedures, key security and protecting guest and company confidential information.Follow all company and safety procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.QualificationsOne year experience as a Lead Maintenance Tech or 2-3 years as a maintenance tech in a hospitality related environment.Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with guests and staff.Must have basic smartphone, computer and keyboard skills.Knowledge in OSHA regulations, National, State and Local building regulations and codes, equipment operations and preventive maintenance procedures.Extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, painting, drywalling, carpeting repair, safety operating systems.This position is on their feet for the majority of their shift and requires a great deal of standing, walking, bending, and stretching.Must be able to push, lift, or pull 50 poundsAbility to be on call at all times for property maintenance needs and work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.Employment is conditional on candidate's successful completion of pre-hire drug and background screening*Naples Hotel Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
