What a Key Team Leader does: Engages each neighbor to ensure they receive friendly service, whether in-store or curbside Plans, assigns, and directs duties during their shift, ensuring the accurate completion of all opening and closing activities Maintains solid product knowledge and keeps current with new product introductions Handles neighbor-related issues as they arise and determines resolution, communicating all issues and resolutions to the Store Team Leaders Carries out supervisory responsibilities by following company policies and procedures Key Team Leaders will have: A genuine passion for pets and an interest in pet care and nutrition Solid communication abilities with leadership skills and attention to detail 2+ years of retail experience with an interest in a leadership role The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment The ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays as needed LH Mercantile, LLC is a franchisee of Pet Supplies Plus that currently has 15 locations throughout the Chicago suburbs and Northwest Indiana.
