It Support Technician

Clarkston Medical Group is looking for a full-time IT Support Technician to join our TEAM!! This position will be based at our Bow Pointe Drive location in Clarkston but occasional visits to our off-site locations (Oakland County) will be required.  

  Duties and Responsibilities :  
Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed. Install, maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, phones and other peripheral equipment. Ensure system security in compliance with policy including virus protection. Set up new employees with ID, email address, and phone number and other necessary configurations for their role. Follow standard software installation procedures and install a variety of software packages. Perform OS and software updates as needed. Manage and complete incident and move, add, change (MAC) requests. Collaborate with system/network/database administrators to ensure efficient operation of the company's end user computing environment. Maintain software and hardware inventories. Assist with equipment replacement cycle. Prepare and maintain appropriate written documentation for procedures, systems, and infrastructure. Responsible for implementing new technology solutions. Maintain an awareness of trends within the technology industry. Maintain a neat and organized workspace. Other Duties and Responsibilities as assigned. Experience : Prior IT Support experience in the medical field, preferred
