This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Technology and Innovation . The incumbent will use data purposefully, to analyze and distill data to enable informed decision-making in all internal and external functions.



Responsibilities


The following are the duties of this position at the CN-53, broadly equivalent to the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
Use knowledge of best practices in data management to identify opportunities, propose solutions, and deliver projects to advance the Bureau's use of data. Lead projects with stakeholders across the Bureau to develop business requirements, integrate requirements, negotiate trade-offs and develop options to meets diverse stakeholder needs. Lead cross-functional project teams from offices across the Bureau and T&I to deliver solutions on approved initiatives. Develop proposals to gather and integrate new potential data sources about consumer financial markets. Travel Required Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
