Inventory Control Specialist

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Inventory Control Specialist to work in the Bowling Green, OH area. This is a direct hire position that offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Design, evaluate and revise inventory and materials management processes, procedures, and reports for the purpose of improving and/or maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing overall finished goods and materials stock holding.
• Investigate discrepancies between physical and systematic inventory by analyzing inventory transaction logs.
• Perform root cause analysis on inventory reporting and implement corrective actions.
• Review transactional history to ensure all material has a digital ledger that matches its physical life.
• Understand material flow throughout the facility, help identify areas of excessive waste procurement.
• Identify variances in production reporting to ensure material is deducted from inventory properly.
• Cooperate with production, receiving, and accounts receivable to confirm transactions are being reported to the correct accounts.
• Develop month end reports to present to staff on departmental progress and challenges.
• Establish, execute, and monitor a building wide cycle count program.
