Responsibilities
• Tracking and data entry of ongoing climate actions and policies into the Alliance's Policy Database• Providing input into Alliance-wide and sector-specific strategic plans• Preparing materials for major Alliance meetings and workshops• Supporting the Alliance in IRA implementation by researching trends and challenges in state implementation• Supporting in tracking federal funding opportunities and drafting newsletters to states• Additional support tasks as needed
Requirements
• Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, or recent graduate• Strong research skills• Ability to write and communicate clearly• Demonstrated interest and experience in state climate policy and coalition building• Interest in innovative ways to communicate technically complex materials• Responsibility, flexibility, collaboration, hard-working, and commitment to the mission of the U.S. Climate Alliance• Fluency in English• Ability to meet regular attendance/tardiness policy• Ability to work under pressure and handle stress
Benefits
• Paid opportunity• Hourly rate of $17 per hour for individuals currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an associate degree or bachelor's degree program• Hourly rate of $20 for individuals currently enrolled in a graduate program• Remote position
