Responsibilities
• Analyze, research, and resolve citizens' life and health insurance complaints• Provide telephone assistance to citizens with insurance-related questions and concerns• Identify company, agent, and industry issues and trends for regulatory review• Interact with the general public and regulated entities• Possibly participate in public speaking, conferences, and hearings
Requirements
• Knowledge and experience with life and health insurance• Knowledge of insurance principles, practices, and North Carolina insurance laws• Knowledge of insurance policies, legal processes, and terminology• Bachelor's degree in business or economics, or related program• Two years of experience in insurance underwriting, claims, or policyholder service
