Job Summary: ?The Instructional Technologist is responsible for providing course design and delivery guidance to faculty and support in developing and delivering highly engaging courses in keeping with the strategic plan and mission of Gonzaga University. Instructional Technologists guide faculty in enhancing pedagogical and technological innovation and promote and advance academic excellence and innovation by ensuring that digital content and pedagogy are incorporated in all courses.? The budgeted annual salary that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position is $$61411 – $66000. The full internal range is $61411- $83086 Minimum Qualifications: BA + three (3) years of related instructional technology experience or seven (7) years of related experience if substituting experience for education requirement. For example, instructional design, technology integration in learning environments, developing courses for online and/or hybrid delivery or educational media production. Knowledge of emerging media trends. Experience using Canvas or similar LMS for course delivery. Outstanding communication abilities to interface with internal and external clients and outside vendors and supporters. An awareness of the latest in educational technology and pedagogy, and an ability to apply that knowledge across disciplines. About Gonzaga University
