Injection Molding Production Supervisor About this Job: Direct hire, immediate need. Injection Molding Production Supervisor is expected to optimize the production process and the productivity of the workforce. Hours: 6:00 PM - 6 AM, 4-days-on/3-days-off rotation. Excellent benefits, 401K, PTO package, etc. Injection Molding Production Supervisor Responsibilities: Trains employees in company policies and procedures, and in the proper and safe use of equipment and tools Directs and mentors workforce to accomplish company objectives and goals Documents and reports production and personnel data as required Utilizes visual factory concepts to maximize asset utilization and plant performance Make recommendations to improve operations and efficiency, and reduce cost Builds the capability of maintenance technicians Tracks standard manufacturing and warehouse measures Stays up-to-date on new processes, equipment, and industry practices Reviews all reports within responsibility area on periodic bases. Makes decisions to release, firm, cancel, or defer work based upon current inventory, demand, capacity, and material availability, and responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Develop an understanding of customers' needs and takes action to ensure that such needs are met. Manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination or provisioning of samples, and the minimization waste. Injection Molding Production Supervisor Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required At least three (3) years of manufacturing / production experience such as a supervisor, foreman, lead, liner leader or other similarly related position. Must have familiarity with production machinery such as injection molding machines, plastic extrusion and other production equipment. Must be available for rotating dayshift shift work and able to work overtime as needed, possibly weekend shifts. Experience with GMPs, SOPs a plus. Prefer experience from plastics manufacturing (extrusion or injection molding), food & beverage manufacturing or pharmaceutical sector. Must be capable of standing for long periods and possess the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Basic computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
