PLANNING, PROCEDURES AND PROCESS
1. Must check and read Work Orders at the start of each shift and at start-up of new jobs
2. Follow, read, interpret and verify work Instructions, Visual Aids and Work Orders
3. Fill out production paperwork and inspection procedures for each job. Must complete operator portion on the 1st Piece Start-Up form
4. Must look for ICR's, NCR's, Quality Alerts daily on the department Communication Board
5. Accurately record and report all scrap
6. Participate in any required inspection activities or work requirements in molding or other departments
7. Use proper ID techniques for traceability to ID parts during production or inspection
8. Must be capable of performing required duties that include assembly, labeling and packing of product and maintain a work pace that meets the requirement of the cycle times on the machines
9. Efficient and effective completion of daily operator functions including stacking parts, basic trimming, assembling/attaching handles, insert gaskets, lid assembly, applying labels and other job duties, meeting the pace and requirements of each job.
10. Must be able to make, seal and label boxes
11. Training of other employees on how to perform the operator job duties.
12. Follow all guidelines and proper procedures for labeling of materials and components. Must be able to apply and maintain pace for labeling requirements including but not limited to Child Warning and UPC labels
13. Must observe machines and mold, and report any inconsistencies and issues to Shift Supervisor
14. Perform other related duties as assigned
Shift is 3pm - 11pm, Monday - Friday
Pay Details: $14.00 per hour
