Responsibilities
• Lead a team to develop new model labor optimization• Lead development and implementation of labor related battery manufacturing Strategies• Grow Battery cell Industrial Engineering knowledge• Collaborate and work closely with manufacturing engineering, material handling, ergonomics, Finance, and/or plant personnel• Drive the teams towards the most efficient use of labor and equipment• Drive & implement labor efficiency through deployment of global IE process, tools and standards• Represent Ford Motor Company in a professional and positive light with all partners• Support simultaneous engineering meetings with equipment manufacturers• Work with plants to complete & evaluate time studies using MODAPTS• Incorporate continuous improvements utilizing Manufacturing Continuous Improvement/Lessons Learned• Lead, mentor, coach, counsel, recognize and empower employees• Establish and maintain consistent priorities to fully utilize engineering resources
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering• 5+ years experience leading in an engineering organization• Experience with MODAPTS, time studies, and labor analysis• Experience working in dynamic, constantly changing environment• Great communicator• Strong planning and organizational skills
Key Skills Needed
• Plant Industrial Engineering & manufacturing operations experience• Battery cell manufacturing knowledge
