Overview:
We are thrilled to announce an opening for a dedicated Human Resources Manager to spearhead the HR function within our rapidly expanding chemical distribution company based in Suwanee, GA. This crucial, newly created position will work closely with our seasoned Senior Management team, offering a unique opportunity to significantly influence our corporate culture and HR operations. The ideal candidate will enjoy a predominantly remote work setup but should reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Suwanee.
Role Summary:
As a pivotal member of the Senior Management team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources. This includes recruitment, employee benefits, compensation, payroll, compliance, employee relations, performance management, HRIS and reporting, leadership development, and employee training. You will provide strategic leadership and act as a key advisor to senior management on HR initiatives and best practices while managing hands-on responsibilities within the HR department.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain positive employee relations and work to ensure a harmonious workplace environment.
Serve as the primary contact for employee and management inquiries, resolving any HR related issues.
Innovate and implement strategic recruitment and assessment processes.
Design and administer ongoing educational and training programs.
Advise the senior leadership team on HR strategies that foster organizational and employee engagement.
Manage employee satisfaction initiatives and oversee workplace recognition programs.
Coordinate benefits planning and administration including annual renewals and open enrollment processes.
Conduct comprehensive compensation reviews in alignment with market trends and organizational equity.
Participate in monthly Senior Management meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
Develop and enforce HR policies that comply with all legal standards.
Lead HR investigations to uphold organizational integrity and compliance.
Professional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification highly desirable.
At least 6 years of experience in a generalist or HR business partner role.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong influence and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
