Position Summary Reporting to the Global Head of Human Resources, Rest of World Region and the North American Head of Learning & Development, the HR Intern will work with senior leaders within ofi and learn about the employee onboarding process, determine why onboarding programs are important and support the enhancement of the onboarding program to enable assimilation of new employees into the organization.

This internship will provide an opportunity to work in innovation for a global food company and develop an understanding of the components and processes that contribute to onboarding new employees as well as process optimization. Position Responsibilities Conduct a comprehensive review of the existing onboarding process to identify areas for improvement to increase onboarding experience for new employees Work collaboratively with HR mentors to develop new and enhanced process. Partner with HR leaders to map the RACI for the program and intended outcome. Update onboarding presentation with inputs from senior leaders. Work closely with functional teams and leaders to collect process data and perform analysis to identify areas that can be made more efficient and effective Collaborate with cross-functional team members to review process performance and implement improvements i.e., IT team to fix process gaps Position Requirements Currently enrolled in an accredited BS or MS degree program, and majoring in Human Resources, Psychology, Communication, Business Administration, Communications, Economics or other related program. Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) Must have great attention to detail. Ability to work within a team environment Excellent communication skills The pay for this role in the state of Chicago is $22/hour and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
