Responsibilities
• Classification, compensation, benefits, recruitment and selection, training, and organizational development• Processing personnel transactions• Providing support to NMDOT employees in relation to HR matters• Ensuring compliance with NMDOT's Directives/Policies and Procedures• Providing high-level HR administrative support, direction, and counsel• Resolving complex HR issues• Providing advice, interpretation, and counsel to employees and other HR staff/administrators• Assessing HR needs and developing strategies to promote effective employee relations• Analyzing and proposing classifications and salary recommendations• Developing and conducting presentations, training programs, and workshops
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in any field• 1 year of experience in human resource operations• Experience in recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation and benefits administration, labor relations, investigations, HR related training
Key Skills Needed
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)• Flexibility and multitasking
