Basically you're performing HR-related duties on a professional level as you work closely with senior HR management in supporting Catholic Charities. This position is tasked with some or all of the following functional areas: onboarding, recruitment, training, compliance, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, payroll/benefits administration, and employment law compliance. Administrative tasks; meeting minutes, record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. We juggle a lot, so our team must remain extremely organized while demonstrating the skills of an insightful person who can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in HR or a related field and 3 years of HR generalist experience, or a master's degree in HR management and one year of experience in human resource generalist role. SHRM-CP certification can be submitted for 1 year of experience. Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations.
