Job Description
THE POSITION This position must be willing to work on shift, Monday – Friday, 6-2:30 pm or 12-8:30 pm Ensure consistent application of Human Relations policies and procedures in relations to new hire processing, employee personnel records, payroll information, and benefits support Manage a high level of confidential information Assist employees with resolving all salaried payroll related issues Maintain salaried employee data in SAP Process all salary payroll changes in SAP (PeopleFlow) Maintain attendance system and personnel files Support new hire processing and maintain and track new hire records to include preparation of new personnel files Track and coordinate all new hire in-processing procedures including paperwork, medical testing, background investigations, and payroll-related items Support in-processing of newly hired employees Process I9 verifications for newly hired employees Create badges for employees Process invoicing for outside services Assist in reporting KPI's - HR Global (Quarterly); HR Plant (Monthly) Support with reporting monthly overtime data Support Recruiting and TMOD with interviews, job/career fairs, and other activities as needed Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus in PowerPoint Must have strong skills in Microsoft Excel to manage complex reports and spreadsheets Ensure implementation of measures and maintain controls Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others Supports the Continental Business System (CBS ) structure by participating in the applicable CBT meeting, reviewing and managing his/her/team performance, conducting simple problem-solving using action sheets, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities, participating in the CBT reviews, and taking ownership for presented parts of the team boards. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field or currently pursuing bachelor's degree (junior or senior in college) 2+ years experience in HR or business related field Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
