We have an outstanding Contract position for an HR Specialist to join a leading Company located in the Boston, MA surrounding area.
The HR Specialist supports and enhances the organization's HR initiatives by driving results and contributing to team/unitsefforts by accomplishing established goals.
Job Responsibilities: Delivers new hire orientation and other training programs as needed. Understands and explains company policies, programs, benefits andrelated information. Assists with unit-specific program design, development andimplementation; and assists with implementation ofany enterprise-wide programs, as needed. Maintainemployee personnel files, bulletin boards, recruiting tracker, exit interview tracker, and attendance system. Ensures that weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Basic Hiring Criteria: High School Diploma and computer skills. Faciilitationis a really strongplus. Preferred2 years college or equivalent.Prior work experience of at least 2-4 years in a human resources-related role. Experience working in airline, transportation, hospitality, manufacturing orfood service environment highlydesirable. Demonstratedknowledge of state and federal employment law. Positionrequires experience and skills.Effective relationship building Business partnering.Cross-functional collaboration Talent acquisition.Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be highly organized, action-oriented, and collaborative.Must also have proficiencyin all areas of EEO/TileVII compliance including expertise in investigating and formally responding to Title VII charges. Must have strong computer and database application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc. ).Basic skills in excel. Use workday, Ultipro, and Kronos- pulls data and then creates reports in excel.
