Qualifications 5-7 years professional human resources experience with an emphasis on employee relations, recruiting and conflict resolution is required Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State and local employment law; specifically in Tennessee HR certification is strongly preferred. On- site position, requires regular attendance during established business hours which may include weekends and holidays Ability to handle various HR matters including interviewing and onboarding, conflict resolution, management of leaves and accommodations, dissemination of benefits information, etc Must be able to become proficient with several different on-line platforms. This position requires the ability to lead, motivate, and advise as well as work as a team member to promote a harmonious workplace. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel, recruitment, selection, compensation, benefits, labor relations, human resources information systems Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership technique Group presentation skills with the ability to conduct effective meetings Excellent communication skills to interact with a diverse workforce Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow CASTmembers and the general public Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary Other Requirements Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing; HR certifications will be verified. Valid Tennessee Driver's License with an acceptable driving record for past three years; driver records are checked annually Join and attend local SHRM Chapter meetings. Certifications will be verified
