Overview: The Human Resources Assistant works alongside the Human Resources Director, and Manager to provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Responsibilities: Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment, status change data, PTO accruals, etc. Acts as receptionist , answering general questions and assisting guests and employees. Organizes outside job applicants, maintains applications for internal job postings and coordinates in-processing with hiring managers. Assists with new hire paperwork. Conducts in-processing of new employees and acts as main point of contact during employee's hiring process and first day of training. Assists in open enrollment process, ensuring data is accurate and entered into employee files in a timely and orderly manner. Acts as first point of contact for employee requests and/or grievances, ensuring that chain of command is followed and escalating to Human Resources Director or department manager when necessary. Gathers and distributes mail and packages to the office. Assists in monitoring unemployment claims, responding in a timely manner and providing substantiating documentation when necessary. Maintains professional communication with all employees and vendors, always ensuring confidentiality. Advises management regarding employee relations, employment law-related issues and human resources policies and procedures. Assists, when necessary, in investigations of employee relations and workers comp issues. Ensures organization of all HR paperwork and employee files, seeking to improve efficiency and communication when possible. Maintains job descriptions, policies and procedures, particularly for general and company-wide policies. Performs all responsibilities in compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations, the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and company policies and procedures. Qualifications: Colorado Support Gaming License is Required! Must be profiecinet in Computer Programs REASONING ABILITY:
