Position Title: GPO Business Development Senior Associate Reports To: GPO Business Development and Performance Sales Manager Department: Sales Premier Primary Location: CA Monterey Headquarters Additional Location: US (Remote) Classification: Hourly Position Summary In this position, the GPO Business Development Senior Associate will work directly to support the company's sales organization, including the Regional Vice Presidents of Sales (RVPs), Account Executives (AEs), and Regional Support Executives (RSEs). This role primarily supports the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) team with both pre- and post-sales responsibilities. The GPO Business Development Senior Associate will perform sales follow-ups to support ongoing account activity within each GPO customer base. The candidate will also oversee the correct tagging of accounts for the correct GPO to ensure revenues can be accurately reported. In so doing, interact as needed with the LanguageLine reporting group and GPO Business Development and Performance National Sales Manager. Principal Roles and Responsibilities Interact with the RVP, AE, and RSE, to provide legal documentation for clients to become customers. Ensure GPO membership and provide prequalification. Maintain and update all GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) membership lists. Work with the Contracts team to ensure all business rules comply with contractual requirements. Work with the Activations team to ensure the account has been set up properly. Pull GPO contracts and assist with database research across multiple platforms including Salesforce.com. Work with cross-functional support teams to ensure financial obligations are met to the GPOs. Assist the GPO Manager in GPO monthly reporting and research any discrepancies. Assist the GPO Manager in any special projects including RFPs. Assist the GPO Manager in identifying targets and campaign reporting. Support LLS' Quality Management System (QMS) to continually improve the Division's processes, procedures, and services; and thereby increase efficiency, productivity, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Additional Responsibilities Has a complete understanding of GPO pricing and proposal options. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team. Participates and contributes to the development of educational/training programs offered to prospects and company employees. Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all internal LanguageLine Solutions personnel. Builds trust, values others, communicates effectively, drives execution, fosters innovation, focuses on the customer, collaborates well with others, solves problems creatively, and demonstrates high integrity. Maintains professional internal and external relationships that advance LanguageLine Solutions' high-quality reputation. Proactively establishes and maintains effective working team relationships with all support departments such as Customer Service, IT, Finance, Reporting, Contracts, and Operations. The full-time hourly rate for this role is listed below. Please note that this hourly rate information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this location. Experience and education refers to LanguageLine Solutions' current hourly range for this position. CA Monterey Headquarters hourly rate is $28.20, depending on experience. The actual hourly amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. Qualifications At least a bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related field or equivalent experience. At least two years' relevant work experience; business/sales customer service experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Superior ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite products, excellent ability to develop and manage Excel spreadsheets, and ability to use customized programs and databases. Ability to multi-task. Self-directed and self-motivated. Sense of urgency and ownership. Ability to research and produce results and/or findings. All other duties as necessary. Proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.) Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to demonstrate leadership and a desire to grow.
