Goldstrike - Underground Electrician

Position Description:Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Underground Electrician to join our Goldstrike Underground Electrical Team.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Underground Electrical Supervisor, the Underground Electrician is responsible for the following:Required to troubleshoot and perform all electrical repairs as required on underground and surface equipment, as well as stationary equipmentNew electrical installations as requiredPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Two (2) years underground electrical experiencepreferredHigh voltage experiencepreferredFormal electrical training and troubleshooting backgroundpreferredAbility to read complex prints and a good understanding of electrical codespreferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven track record of being a team playerrequiredExemplary safety performance and attendance recordrequiredAbility to accomplish physical labor under all weather conditionsrequiredDemonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this jobrequiredThe ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role required
