Job Description:
We are currently seeking Forklift Operators  to join our team at our Pooler Branch location in Pooler GA. Forklift Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, as well as maintaining inventory levels to prevent stock outs. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare shipments to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring items are properly secured for transport. Communicate inventory levels to the Warehouse Supervisor or immediate supervisor to prevent stock outs. Distribute book reorders to branch picking aisles as needed. Provide backup support for shipping/receiving, including loading and unloading containers. Return all merchandise to its proper location promptly, ensuring items are handled with care to avoid damage. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Assist other Associates in completing tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor. Have a strong understanding of cycle counting and inventory control procedures. Maintain regular attendance in accordance with the schedule. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in warehouse operations preferred. Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures. Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed.
