Fleet Dispatcher & Haul Division Manager

Join Overland Corporation and Overland Materials & Manufacturing, Inc., one of Oklahoma's largest general contractors and asphalt material producers. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Fleet Dispatcher / Haul Division Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our operations, involving planning, organizing, scheduling, and coordinating company-owned and lease haul trucks. The successful candidate will work closely with Superintendents and Foremen to secure and schedule legal haul trucks to meet our needs. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate activities of 25 to 80 drivers delivering aggregate, asphalt, and other materials to various locations. Oversee the field Trucking Foreman and internal equipment move haul trucks. Interview, hire, and manage employees, including performance appraisals, rewards, and disciplinary actions. Plan routes and schedules for drivers and trucks for delivery of aggregates and other materials. Communicate with equipment manager, supervisors, plant managers, job foremen, and outside customers for delivery coordination. Order state, county, and city permits for oversize and overweight loads. Track drivers' hours of service and monitor logbooks to ensure DOT compliance. Assign trucks according to factors such as length and purpose of trip, and freight requirements. Direct activities of drivers by two-way radio or other available communication method. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills. A working knowledge of HCSS HeavyJob, Equipment 360 and Fleetwatcher is a plus. Ability to work productively and meet deadlines timely. Ability to communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. Ability to work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
