Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Fitness Membership Sales & Club Manager at Anytime Fitness in Pleasantville, NY. This is a full-time position in the franchise industry with a base salary and a commission structure. As the Fitness Membership Sales & Club Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing the overall operations of the gym. You will be the face of our club and the main point of contact for our members, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere at all times.Compensation & Benefits:This is a full-time role with a competitive base salary of $19 to $21 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to the base salary, there is also a commission structure in place, providing an opportunity for additional earnings. The role also includes benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and a complimentary gym membership.Responsibilities:Drive membership sales through proactive outreach, networking, and marketing effortsCreate and execute sales strategies to reach revenue targets and increase membership retentionHandle the day-to-day operations of the gym, including opening/closing procedures and managing staff schedulesProvide superior customer service to members, including giving tours, answering questions, and addressing concernsDevelop and maintain relationships with current and potential corporate clients to increase corporate membership salesImplement marketing campaigns and initiatives to attract new members and retain current membersTrack and analyze monthly sales reports to monitor progress and make necessary adjustmentsHire, train, and motivate a team of fitness coaches to provide high-quality training sessions for membersEnsure the gym is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all timesStay up to date on industry trends and attend trainings to continuously improve sales and management skillsHandle member inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and effective mannerAdhere to all company policies and guidelines at all timesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred2+ years of experience in sales and/or management in the fitness industryProven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targetsStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work flexible hours including evenings and weekendsKnowledgeable about health and fitness and a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goalsProficient in Microsoft Office and other sales tracking softwareMust be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.EEOC Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
