Field Plumbing Superintendent

Job Title: Field Plumbing Superintendent Position Location: Florence, South Carolina Job Category: Commercial Construction Position Type: Full-Time Level: Supervision Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 + Benefits Additional Information: A Housing Allowance Available for The Right Candidate A mechanical contractor with well over 50 years of experience in mechanical construction is seeking an experienced plumbing superintendent to join their team. This is a full-time position with the mechanical contractor.
Advanced plumbing knowledge in commercial plumbing is required, experience with commercial heating/air conditioning and or fire suppression will be a huge plus.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The superintendent will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered successfully and on time. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the quality installation Responsible for project administration Ensure their Project Manager is accurately and fully informed. Accurately managing assigned manpower Stay within the project budget. Ensure all materials are on site before starting tasks. Attending all job site meetings. Daily quality control. Make sure all subs follow company regulations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Superintendents must have experience on commercial construction sites. Must have at least 5 years of recent verifiable experience. Must have at least 7 years of verifiable commercial plumbing experience. Must have experience with commercial new construction. Must be a team player and take pride in all work. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have a clean driving record. Must be able to work overtime.
