Overview
The
FM Technical Specialist
will assist the Gilbane FMS Technical Consultant on space/equipment data collection, formatting and preparation for upload into the Customer's Maintenance Management system.
Responsibilities
Perform field surveys of rooms and equipment in new and existing buildings.
Use of 360 cameras, Matterport cameras and iPad/cell phones in the data collection process.
Accessing equipment at various heights, using ladders and lifts as needed (training provided)
Adherence to all safety rules on job sites.
Formatting of data collected, using tools like MS Excel, MS Access, etc.
Using constructions drawings to locate/identify rooms/equipment on the job sites.
Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
AAS in Architectural/Mechanical Design
Or equivalent experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions of Technical Consultants
Ability to travel, approximately 60% of job locations will require travel
Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Access and other data formatting/processing tools
Proficiency with MS Project, MS Visio
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
Ability to read engineering/construction drawings
Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines for construction sites
