About the role: Reporting to the Facilities Director, the Facilities Administrator is responsible for the overall cleanliness, safety and functionality of the office space and for monitoring and ordering office 
supplies. This role serves as the facilities subject matter expert and ensures that the physical space is maximized for productivity and efficiency. The Facilities Administrator develops and 
cultivates positive and productive relationships with external vendors and keeps leadership apprised of facility related incidents. This role will directly assist in the management and 
continued development of Facilities team members, conducting check-ins, delegating tasks, and managing timekeeping.
What you'll do: Oversee the office space and function, ensuring facilities are clean, welcoming and maximized for productivity and safetyHelp organize, implement and maintain facilities operating procedures and standardsManage office supplies inventory and place orders as neededHelp track monthly department expensesServe as subject matter expert on facilities core disciplinesReport facility related issues, address and complete task tickets on project management software (JIRA)Lead quarterly facilities security auditsServe as front desk back-up, assist receiving and directing visitors and employeesProvide management with regular status and incident reports highlighting new or pending tasks, urgencies, roadblocks, needed support, etc.Track office seating changes and assist with event planning/office lunchesAssist with Facilities team goals and KPI trackingContribute to employee engagement activities and eventsFoster positive landlord, building and vendor relationshipsParticipate in emergency training and assist with related proceduresWhat we're looking for:  High School Diploma or GEDExperience leading or managing a teamExpert knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Entrepreneurial spirit and desire for constant improvement with a willingness to learnIndependent thinker with strong follow through on requests and tasksCustomer service focused, with the ability to quickly build positive, productive relationships with internal and external partnersAbility to easily adapt and work in a fast-paced, exciting, and performance-driven environmentPreferred: Bachelor's or equivalent experiencePreferred: Previous experience with property management, coordinating vendors, inventory tracking, badging procedures, emergency planningLocation:Chicago
