Fab Qa Technician St Shift

Monitor the implementation of food safety and quality procedures on the floor, report deficiencies and correct them. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities: + Monitor SOP's, SSOP's, and GMP compliance of associates, perform HACCP procedures to comply with federal regulations
+ Work with USDA and present records to them at the agency's request
+ Review records to ensure accuracy and be held accountable to their accuracy
+ Aid QA supervisor and management in gathering data for investigations
+ Work closely with production associates in monitoring meat product for specifications, and correcting specification deficiencies
+ Assist in other duties as needed
Requirements: + Problem solving skills
+ Able to work in an independent environment
+ Experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment preferred
+ Reliable
+ Attention to detail
+ Able to Monday through Friday, and occasional weekends when needed
+ Comfortable working in a cold environment
+ Ability to stand for long periods of time
+ Ability to work second shift 3pm – 1 am
