GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:

Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Student Financial Aid, the Executive Director of Campus Financial Aid Operations supervises, supports, and guides the College's 19 campus financial aid teams and is responsible for key financial aid programs and activities, including coordinating the College's Federal Work-Study Program.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide direct supervision of six of the College's 19 campus financial aid teams and maintain effective relationships with their campus leadership teams.
Develop and implement a comprehensive, statewide financial aid communications and outreach plan that is inclusive and complementary of campus actions.
Lead and coordinate the College's FAFSA completion strategy and efforts, including College Goal Sunday.
Ensure all campuses are effectively utilizing their institutional aid and Ivy Tech Foundation scholarships.
Serve as the College's statewide coordinator of the Federal Work-Study Program.
Support all campus financial aid teams with financial aid outreach, financial aid counseling, and student appeals.
Deploy excellent customer service and resolve escalated student situations, including responding to student complaints from Federal Student Aid and the Indiana Commission for Higher Education.
Serve as an integral part of the Systems Office Financial Aid leadership team.

This is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with this position may be assigned. Regular statewide travel is expected. All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.

Director of Financial Aid (Columbus Campus), Director of Financial Aid (Hamilton County Campus), Director of Financial Aid (Lake County Campus), Director of Financial Aid (Marion Campus), Director of Financial Aid (Richmond Campus), Director of Financial Aid (South Bend/Elkhart Campus)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree required.
Five or more years' of experience administering financial aid programs is required.
Supervisory experience is required.
Must demonstrate ability to build and maintain strong, authentic relationships.
Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail required.
Proven success in simultaneously managing multiple projects and initiatives required.
Must demonstrate the ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees and which every individual feels respected and valued.
Certified Financial Aid Administrator (FAAC) designation preferred.

SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $100,000
