Estimator - Industrial Construction - Industrial Construction

We're an industrial General Contractor that's been around 50 years and we're still growing! We're looking for an experienced Estimator to help us win and estimate industrial projects. If that sounds like something you can help us with, we'd love to speak with you!
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating estimates and bids for new industrial construction projects, taking into account material, labor, and other costs.
The Estimator - Industrial Construction is expected to analyze plans, blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documents to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for industrial construction projects. They are expected to be knowledgeable in all aspects of the industrial construction process, and be able to accurately assess the resources necessary to complete the job.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze plans, blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documents to estimate costs. Develop detailed bids that accurately reflect the cost of the project. Monitor project progress and provide updates on cost estimates. Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to ensure the best deals. Identify potential change orders and accurately assess the costs associated with them. Evaluate contractor bids to ensure the lowest cost without sacrificing quality. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. At least two years of experience in industrial construction estimating. Proficiency with computer programs such as Hard Dollar, Bid2Win, HHCSS, Take-Offs, InEight, and RFI. Experience in commercial construction and design-build projects. Experience with public works and/or oil & gas projects is a plus. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
