The Epic Configuration Analyst is responsible for in-depth knowledge of assigned Epic System software. This position conducts regular day-to-day communication, reviews software, demonstrates a deeper understanding of business operations, and works with Epic, Subject Matter Experts, and end users to tailor the system to fit the organization's needs. This position routinely performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, and other technical issues associated with the use of Epic software; is responsible for design, build, testing, and maintain those solutions
Other information:
Associate degree in related technical/business area plus 0-1 years of experience in IT. 0-1 years of Epic specific experience. 3 years' additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree. Epic certification is a plus, if no certification must obtain within 6 months


Responsibilities:
*Provide tier-2 support of application incidents reported through the help desk; including 24/7 on call coverage as required.
*Perform analysis to resolve application incidents, maintenance items, enhancement requests, upgrades / updates, and projects, collaborating with colleagues and across teams.
*Develop and maintain requirements / specifications and test cases for new or enhanced functionality to department applications. Ensure the test scripts have been created, reviewed, and updated to reflect workflow solutions.
*Modify Epic records, tables, and master files to support the application design, additions, and changes.
*Implement changes using documented procedures that are compliant with departments policies and procedures.
*Complete all tasks in a timely manner with accurate documentation.
*Support the training team by keeping trainers abreast of new functionality and system changes.
*Understanding of workflows and integration between applications.
*Actively participate and contribute in team and cross-team meetings and maintain appropriate meeting records.
General Responsibilities:
*Mid-level Microsoft Office skills.
*Excellent written, oral, instructional, presentation, and interpersonal skills focused on modification and a positive attitude. Highly self-motivated and change oriented.

*Ability to analyze highly complex systems and workflows.
*Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and manage the work of a major project, program, or function within the department.
*Ability to handle confrontation with appropriate professionalism and firmness to manage / resolve disputes appropriately
*Ability to establish a set of tasks and activities associated with an intended outcome and timeline
*Ability to collaborate and build consensus with stakeholders
*Ability to understand and adhere to operational standards, policies, and procedures and to identify risks and issues.
*Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, interpret results, and to develop solutions for new and unfamiliar challenges.
