Environmental Svcs Tech Lead

Overview As our Environmental Services Lead, you will take pride in providing a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. In the absence of the supervisor, you will lead the work of Environmental Services employees. You will serve as a role model by demonstrating top-notch environmental service skills and courteous and professional behavior toward patients, physicians, visitors, volunteers, and other employees.
You'll succeed in this job if you are thorough and committed to safety. Using your prior experience as an EVS Tech and EVS Speciality Tech, you will lead the work and mentor others to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and sanitized.

Responsibilities Executes the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. Responsible for cleaning and disinfection of all areas of the facility, including speciality units. Performs all types of floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting.  Performs duties while demonstrating working knowledge of the health care cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements, proper and safe chemical use, equipment handling, and labor saving products for all items within the specialty environment tasked with servicing. Assist in onboarding new Environment Services Technicians and serve as a mentor. Remain patient, kind and personable in all interactions with patients, visitors and staff. Qualifications HS Diploma/GED preferred. Previous experience in commercial/healthcare cleaning preferred.
