Job Description Successful applicants need to be self-motivated individuals with the ability to interact in a team and work independently. This position requires physical activities such as bending, lifting, and long periods of standing. Field labor activities occur outdoors for long periods of time with exposure to the elements. Assisting with planting, staking research plots, pollinating, data collection using electronic devices, research plot maintenance, hand harvest, process improvement projects, preventive maintenance of equipment, aiding with spraying, and other special projects. Skills Required Ability to understand and follow verbal and written tasks and safety instructions delivered in English. Ability to lift to 40lbs. Experience with or ability to learn Microsoft Office and iOS devices for data collection. Ability to perform repetitive job tasks accurately. Past pesticide application experience is desirable, but not required. Education/Training/Certifications High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Compliance with company and USDA-APHIS trainings and policies is required. Additional Requirements Must be able to pass drug screen. Valid driver's license. Team members may need to drive company vehicles during work hours and must be 18 year of age minimum. Weekend work and extended hours will be required during the peak seasons.
