Engineering CAD designer/ Technician Job DescriptionWe are searching for a detail-oriented, dependable, experienced engineering CAD designer or technician to join our growing team.  The candidate will collaborate with other engineering professionals and should be able to make useful recommendations when appropriate.ResponsibilityOperate and monitor additive manufacturing (3D-printing) systems and other laboratory equipmentMaintain, troubleshoot and repair equipmentManage lab supplies and order replacement partsWrite standard operating procedure (SOP)Follow test plans and execute experimental testsRecord data, write reports and communicate resultsMaintain lab safety and always work safelyMinimum qualification & experienceHigh school diploma minimum.  An engineering technical degree is a plusWorking experience as an engineering CAD designer or technician with extensive skills in mechanical equipment, systems and ability to repair equipmentStrong communication skillsComputer skills: CAD modeling experience (Creo or Solidworks - preferred)Nice to have: 3D printing experience, military veteran background
