Responsibilities
• Developing and monitoring health plans for students.• Treat students and staff as needed.• Educate students and staff on health and wellness.• Administer medications to students.• Provide basic healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness.
Requirements
• Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred, will consider LPN• Ability to work independently or with others.• Knowledge of many areas of health.• Ability to assess situations and act quickly• BLS/CPR Certification• Knowledge of state health regulations.• Ensure compliance with national and local health laws.• Ensure school environment is safe for children and school staff (e.g. prevention of communicable diseases)
