The Product Support department provides for the repair and modification of all Korry Electronics aviation products. This is a senior level position performing a variety of complex technical tasks to support the Product Support Organization. These tasks revolve around the repair, overhaul, modification, test, diagnosis and inspection of aerospace electronic and electro-mechanical components and assemblies. Primary Responsibilities: Test, evaluate and repair aerospace electronic and electro-mechanical components and assemblies. Interpret and confirm customer squawks and flight data. Read and interpret electrical schematics. Read Component Maintenance Manual to identify test procedures. Create rework/repair Work Instructions for Certified Repairman. Keep records of maintenance and test work. Work under limited supervision. Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above. Qualifications: Broad technician skills and abilities of electrical & mechanical assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting / repair / overhaul, and testing and/or area of special expertise with Korry product lines. Clear understanding of technician process per the Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals for FAA approved Repair Station. Capability to interface skillfully and technically with Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service Administration and customers. Advanced knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials such as Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, engineering drawings, etc. Read and understand schematic and assembly drawings. Ability to proficiently set-up and use all testing and inspection equipment, from basic oscilloscope and digital multimeter to complex and specialized lighting equipment. Highly motivated and possessing effective oral/written communication and interpersonal / team skills. What You Must Have: Minimum AA/AS degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other post high school training Military (two years duration) in Electronics. Experience with digital and analog electronics and general hands on mechanical experience. Must have a minimum of 6 years' experience in electronics. You must be a US Person Where We Work:
