Drupal & PHP Developer Location Remote in United States : Overview: DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Drupal & PHP Developer to develop, maintain, upgrade, migrate existing and new Bureau of Reclamation websites based on Drupal CMS platform. This position is 100% remote. Duties & Responsibilities: Create a plan for migrating the existing website with no data loss and minimal downtime from Drupal version 9 to Drupal version 9.5 or 10. Create a plan for setting up and configuring new hosting environment for the Drupal 9.5 or 10 environment in conjunction with the Bureau of Reclamation infrastructure team. Integrate and modify existing and new Drupal modules based upon Bureau of Reclamation website design requirements to achieve required functionality. Create a design and implement integration of external components and/or cloud services such as website search services, content subscription services, reporting services, analytics in the Drupal environment. Perform website migration with no data loss and minimal downtime while following industry best practice IT security requirements. Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements for enhancing and/or modifying existing and migrated websites. Provide continuous ongoing operational support (including performance issues such as website slowness, website availability, break fix) for existing and future Drupal environments including minor/major version upgrades, security patches, module updates and new module installations. Test new software in development environment and follow Bureau of Reclamation IT processes to promote new code/software to production environments. Research, test and recommend implementation of new versions of Drupal as they are released and recommend upgrade path to Bureau of Reclamation IT management. Kickoff project, provide and manage schedule and complete upgrade within defined time. Utilize a mature process to manage the software development and operations tasks by using various industry standard tools and processes such as software source code repositories, bug/issue tracking software and automated build/release and deployment tools. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field and 4 - 5 years of strong and current, demonstrated skills with website architecture design, development, upgrade and migration. Ability to obtain a Public Trust. Deep understanding of Drupal architecture and concepts such as Drupal core and modules. Thorough knowledge of Drupal 9. Experience with selecting web hosting software with content management system (CMS). Deep understanding of Section 508 compliance requirements. Abiility to build mobile responsive websites. Familiarity with the DevOps methodology.
